ERIS 2026 - XI European Radio Interferometry School

We are pleased to share the second announcement of the XI European Radio Interferometry School (ERIS 2026), which will take place 7-11 September 2026 in Noto, Sicily (Italy).

LECTURES

ERIS 2026 will offer a full week of lectures and practical hands-on sessions designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to radio interferometry. The program will cover both the fundamental principles and advanced techniques for data processing and analysis. The list of lectures and invited speakers is available on the school website:

The hands-on sessions will cover the basics of calibration and imaging of interferometric data across different instruments and frequency ranges. More specific hands-on will be tailored according to the feedback and interests expressed by participants during registration.

 

REGISTRATION

Registration is open until 4 May 2026 via the following page:

Due to logistical constraints, participation is limited to 80 attendees. We therefore encourage interested participants to register as early as possible. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 20 May 2026.

 

REGISTRATION FEE:

The registration fee is 250 EUR. This fee includes: accommodation in shared rooms, breakfasts, coffee breaks and lunches during the five days of the school (7-11 September 2026), a social dinner and a visit to the Noto Radio Observatory. 

The registration fee includes accommodation for the entire duration of the school in shared rooms. Participants who prefer a different type of accommodation are kindly asked to arrange it independently at their own expenses.

You will receive payment details once your application outcome is confirmed. The deadline for payment of the registration fee is 12 June 2026.
