Descripción/Description: 

The Centro de Astrobiology (CAB, INTA-CSIC) announces one research contract associated to the project  “ Spanish Participation in the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) ” (PID2021-127718NB-I00;  PIs. Santiago Arribas, Luis Colina). 

The selected candidate will work within the framework of an international collaboration on the Galaxy Assembly with JWST/ NIRSpec Integral Field Spectroscopic (GA-NIFS) survey, and/or other closely related projects. The research will focus on the evolution of galaxies and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) in the early universe through spatially resolved studies. 

This position is open to both late-stage PhD candidates and (recent) PhD graduates.

Salary level: 38500 — 41900 euros

Starting date: around November 2025 
Expected duration: 2 (+1) years, depending on funding
