Descripción/Description:

We announce one position for a software engineer at the Institute of Space Sciences in Barcelona, which is part of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Catalan Institute for Space Studies (IEEC).

The software engineer will be developing a pulsar-timing based GPS software, to help implement this software within a satellite navigation simulator (in collaboration with the SENER and Deimos companies), and study dependencies and optimizations for a future in-flight utilization. He/she is requested to have experience in:

Starting date would be as soon as possible, but can be discussed with the potential candidates.

Group activities will be in English (as are most Institute activities). One crucial strength of our group is the general relaxed and supportive interaction between all of its members. We expect you to join our spirit and have fun together during your research activities. More information about the group here: https://www.ice.csic.es/erc-magnesia/
