The "Centro de Estudios de Física del Cosmos de Aragón" (CEFCA) invites applications for a postdoctoral position starting as soon as possible. The position, with a duration of at least 2 years, is conceived within the framework of the Complementary Plans (Planes Complementarios) Programme 2022-2025 on Astrophysics and High Energy Physics in Aragón: “Illuminating the Dark Universe: Dark Matter and Dark Energy”; an action of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

The applicant will conduct research related to the detection and characterization of extreme emission line galaxies across cosmic time using the multi-filter datasets of J-PLUS and J-PAS. The medium- and narrow-bands of these surveys are sensitive to the presence of emission lines in star-forming galaxies, providing a unique and efficient data set to discover new extreme systems.
