Postdoctoral positions in High-Energy Astrophysics at MPE

There are open postdoctoral position in the MPE High-Energy Group, which will offer the opportunity to work in one of these main areas of research of the group: clusters of galaxies and cosmology, supermassive black hole evolution, accreting compact objects, high energy transients and the hot phases of the interstellar, circum-galactic, and intergalactic media.
The research program should be mainly focused on the exploitation of SRG/eROSITA X-ray survey data and their multi-wavelength follow-up (including SDSS-V and 4MOST surveys) and/or of the recently launched Einstein Probe mission, with a focus on high-energy transients.
The full-time postdoc position is initially for two years, with the possibility for further extensions.
