The 5th Meeting of the Iberian White Dwarf Working Group will be held at the Conference Room of the Instituto de Astrofisica de Andalucia (IAA-CSIC) from Wednesday, January 27, to Friday, January 29, 2027.

The meeting is intended to bring together researchers on different aspects of white dwarfs including multi-wavelength observations, stellar evolution, populations, nucleosynthesis, explosions, and more. All white-dwarf-related topics are welcome. Sessions will mix topics, with talks aimed at a broad audience so that we learn from each other. The topics collected at registration will give us a census of white dwarf research in our community.

All contributions will be oral presentations of the same duration; there will be no poster session. Students are especially encouraged to present, including preliminary results.

Remote participation will be possible via Zoom. The link will be sent to registered participants before the meeting.

There is no registration fee.

An informal gathering will take place on the evening of Wednesday, January 27, and there are plans to attend a flamenco concert on the evening of Thursday, January 28.
