Descripción/Description:

IAA-CSIC is seeking a Doctor in Astrophysics, with previous experience in data reduction and analysis of two-dimensional spectroscopic data, and in multicomponent fitting of emission lines and its interpretation in physical terms.

Main tasks will include:
-Reduction of AGNs data obtained with MEGARA / GTC and MUSE / VLT
- Reduction of data in near IR of AGNs obtained with SINFONI / VLT and EMIR
- Processing of the science cubes for multicomponent analysis, using  fortran, python and IDL programming languages, gasgano / esorex and P3D spectroscopic data reduction packages, and iraf and topcat astronomical analysis packages
- Subtraction of stellar components on IFU data using STARLIGHT and pPFX
- Analysis of the various components of ionized and neutral gas and star populations in AGNs
- Extraction of the two-dimensional kinematics of the components identified using Voronoi binning and Kinemetry for two-dimensional spectroscopic data
- Analysis of the importance of the identified outflows and quantification of their physical parameters
- Comparison of results with feedback models used in AGNs, quasar mode or radio
- Evaluation of the relative importance of positive or negative feedback  in AGNs

The contract is for 2 years and can be extended for one more year.
