7th Heidelberg International Symposium on High-Energy Gamma-Ray Astronomy

The Heidelberg International Symposium on High-Energy Gamma-Ray Astronomy (Gamma2020) will be held in Barcelona, on 6th to 10th July 2020. 

·       Registration: The registration to the Symposium is now open. Please use the “registration form” available at the Gamma2020 web-page. Note that Early registration is open from February 3rd to April 30th.

·       Abstract submission: Abstracts for contributed talks and posters for the Gamma2020 can be submitted from February 3rd to April 30th using this form.  

·       Venue: The Symposium will take place at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Biology of the Universitat de Barcelona. Indications on how to reach the conference room can be found here.

·       Accommodation: In addition to hotels in Barcelona near to the conference, a number of University residences are also available (see suggestions here). NOTE: The Aleu Residence, just 200m away from the conference venue, has blocked a number of rooms for attendants to the Gamma2020 Symposium at a reduced price. Availability of these rooms is granted only until February 29th. 

  • VISA application: If you need an invitation letter for a visa application, please contact us (gamma2020@icc.ub.edu). Please note that you have to register first before applying for a visa invitation letter. Note also that summer is usually a busy period for Spain Embassies, and it may thus be safer to get in contact with them well in advance.
